About.

Hello!

My name’s Jack. I founded Raccoon on the Run in 2022 – after years of juggling freelancing, a full-time job in the charity sector, and directing independent documentaries I decided it was time to drop the job and dedicate myself to my real passion: video in all its forms. I took the plunge, upgraded my equipment, and started taking clients.

Since then, it’s been a wild ride. I’ve worked on documentaries, football matches, psychics, tv adverts, music videos, investor pitches, and just about anything else you can think of: you can check out some snippets of what I’ve done under the Raccoon name here.

So, why go with me, a one-man band (for now!), over one of the bigger production houses, or source your own freelancers for different bits of your project? There are a few reasons. For one, riding solo means my costs are drastically reduced, and I can pass this on to the client. You also only have to deal with one company, rather than juggling editors, cinematographers, and the rest, and your project will be taken care of under one roof from start to finish, meaning the vision you communicate at the start of the project doesn’t get lost in translation as things move forward.

Now, if it sounds a little big headed to say I can do it all, don’t worry, I know I can’t. If ever there’s a job that exceeds my abilities, whether in skill or simply person-power, I’ll let you know and source for you who you need, taking no commission from any work they do.

Raccoon on the Run is all about demystifying video, keeping prices reasonable, and delivering the best results without stress or hassle for the client as part of a friendly, personal service.

Finally, I’m a big believer that there’s no job too small. I’m as happy taking on a big TV advertising project as I am coming along to shoot a birthday party. All that being said, what are you waiting for?! Get in touch today for a chat about what you need out of the wonderful world of professional video services.

Cheers,

Jack
